HNZ Junior World Cup Qualifier in Auckland
We are excited to announce that the Junior World Cup Qualifier will be held in Auckland from January 29 to February 2. This year’s tournament will feature four men’s teams: New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.
On the women’s side, three teams have confirmed their participation: New Zealand, Australia, and the Solomon Islands. NZ Māori Hockey has also been invited to field a women’s U21 team. While NZMH will not be eligible to compete for World Cup qualification, their presence will undoubtedly enhance the event.
We eagerly anticipate an exhilarating competition that will showcase the exceptional talents of our emerging NZ Māori hockey players!
