For our Māori hockey whānau, New Zealand Māori Hockey Incorporated (NZMH) wishes to clarify that two separate incorporated societies currently operate in Aotearoa.

These are two distinct legal organisations, each with its own governance structure.
New Zealand Māori Hockey Incorporated (NZMH) remains operational and continues its longstanding work and relationships within Māori hockey.
Establishing a separate incorporated society does not mean NZMH has ceased operating, nor does it automatically transfer NZMH’s identity, membership, or responsibilities to another organisation.
We share this notice in the interests of transparency, clarity and keeping our Māori hockey whānau informed.
