2025 National Māori Tournament Winners

Ngā Tohu 2025 — National Māori Hockey Achievements & Awards

He Whakataetae Whakamīharo!

This year, it was Tāmaki Makaurau’s turn to host the 2025 National Māori Hockey Tournament, held in Pukekohe across two outstanding venues — Counties Manukau and ACG Strathallan.

Over four exciting days, the tournament brought together eight rohe, two tiers, 26 teams, and 537 participants, supported by countless whānau, kaumātua, and dignitaries. It was a powerful showcase of kotahitanga and whanaungatanga, both on and off the turf.

The tournament was filled with pride, passion, and powerful displays of mana. From our rangatahi to our senior players, every pass, every goal, and every cheer carried the wairua of our people.

This year, we celebrate not only our champions on the field, but also all those who upheld the kaupapa, spirit, and unity of Māori Hockey.

Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa who contributed to making this tournament one to remember — a true celebration of our people, our game, and our shared pride in being Māori.
